Professor Agulha has been studying Capoeira since he was fourteen years old. Currently, he leads several successful programs for kids and adults in Central New Jersey. Never forgetting about the importance of his own learning process, he continues to study all aspects of the art. Agulha has traveled all over the United States, to Brazil and to several other countries, visiting different Capoeira schools with the purpose of gaining experience, making connections, and gathering information to pass down to the next generation. In his classes, he aims to create an open and nurturing environment which promotes self expression and harmony.
